Nautical Ventures Marine Superstore has been appointed the exclusive worldwide distributorship for Chapman Transition Tenders. Chapman’s three new models, from 22’ to 28’ feet, offer mega-yachts a low profile, adaptive bow ramp tender that can be easily housed in the vessel’s garage or on deck. These innovative designs are the work of renowned boat builder & designer Victor Chapman, a third generation boat builder and racer with over 40 years in the marine industry and who has worked with the industry’s most iconic leaders. “The concept of the adaptive bow ramp was to improve this part of the boating experience for both owners & crew,” notes Chapman. “Whether it’s a beach landing, a dive excursion, pulling into a slip, or butting up to a yacht’s swim platform our tenders make it much easier to transition from point A to point B.” According to Roger Moore, CEO of Nautical Ventures Group, “Adding the Chapman line to our tender department really gives us an opportunity to meet the changing needs of today’s yachtsman. These new models also provide our Yacht Tender Concierge, Renee McCullers, with more options to help Captains outfit their yachts.” For more information please contact Nautical Ventures, 954-926-5250 http://www.nauticalventures.com
Chapman Transition
Every boat company strives to give quality product. Comparing mission statements is an exercise who can write the best verbiage. What some companies start out promising is not necessarily what is delivered. Very simply Chapman Transition strives to CONSISTENTLY improve its products as a world-class, custom built, bow ramp tender.
From the beginning, in the summer of 2007, the original concept was for the aging baby boomers to feel more comfortable while continuing their boating experience. For the captain and crew, there’s no more pushing and pulling the old grandparents (or owners) in and out of the boat. One push of a switch is all it takes now. The ease of boarding and disembarking as well as handicapped accessibility was an important concern as well.
The classic lines of an inflatable tube collar that touches the waterline, provides that extra stability when the boats loaded with passengers.
The low profile original design with stern drive option was built to fit in the garages of mega-yacths. However, the outboard versions have been in demand most. Currently, there are (3) customizable model lengths; 22', 25', and 28'. Power packages include (but not limited too) outboard single or twin, gas or diesel stern drive, and diesel jet options.
